Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

Dan Orlovsky

I’m playing because the first time I really heard about ALS was when a former NFL Player Steve Gleason got diagnosed—it was hard for me to comprehend because I remember Steve as the guy who has one of the most iconic Super Bowl moments of all-time. And then one of my dear friends Chuck Haberstroh shared with me his mother was battling ALS and educated me on how terrible this disease is—-we’ve gotta beat ALS.

Chuck Haberstroh

I am playing in honor of my mother, Patty, who we lost to ALS two years ago and for the hundreds of friends I have met through my efforts on Major League Baseball's Lou Gehrig Day Committee--notably Adam Wilson, B-Wayne Galentine and Pat Quinn. RIP.

We can't keep losing so many great people to this disease. Every conversation about ALS and every dollar raised towards research and support gets us one step closer. So, thank you.
