We are trying to raise critical funds to support those affected by ALS and to spread awareness about the urgent need for treatments and a cure.
Two years ago, my mom became the first person in our family to be diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Since then, I’ve witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of this progressive, fatal disease. ALS slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe.
This disease traps them in their own body while their mind is still very much alive.
The average life expectancy after diagnosis is only 2 to 5 years. ALS can strike anyone, and there is still no known cause or cure.
Sadly, our Phyllis, wife, mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, cousin, and friend to thousands, fell victim to this statistic.

In her honor, we hope to change this statistic and bring help and hope to families like mine who are living with ALS. In hopes that one day, no one will ever hear the words “You have ALS.”
Over the past few years, incredible advancements in ALS research, expanded access to care, and meaningful legislation aimed at improving the quality of life for those affected by this disease have been made. But we have to keep working to find a cure, and the key to making that happen is awareness, attention, and effort from all of us.
Please consider joining us in this fight. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of people living with ALS and their families, just like mine.
