"I'll never be your beast of burden,I've walked for miles, my feet are hurting"
I never had any interest in running a marathon but if there's one person I'd run one for it's my Father-in-Law, Harold Jacobs. Harold is a retired Firefighter of Engine 225 NYC who served on September 11th and was diagnosed with ALS in 2022. He is one of the strongest men I know and one of the greatest role models a son could ask for. There is not a less deserving man to be struck by this horrible disease and he has still only shown us how strong he truly is. Through our bond of Budweisers, Bagels, good music, and endless nights talking around the kitchen table, I have learned what it is to truly be a good person and continue to do so to this day. So please support me as I prepare to run the NYC Marathon for Team ALS TDI on November 5th and raise money for the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI) to help find a cure and end ALS.
