My name is Kristina. Three years ago I was diagnosed with ALS at the age of 31 and told I had about 2-5 years to live. No words can adequately convey what it's like to confront your own mortality so suddenly and unexpectedly. I have three young children, ages 11, 9, and 7. I grieve the knowledge that I will probably not see them grow up. I think about graduations and weddings and grandchildren I'll never meet. All I can do is strive to 'endure for a cure.' We're proud to be participating in the Race 4 Research 5K Run on Sunday, April 26, 2020. Race 4 Research is an ALS Therapy Development Institute premier event, bringing together more than 200 participants from the community each year. The event raises money and awareness for the fight against ALS. Please join us in the fight and show your support to help end this disease.
