Story

Donate to #ENDALS!

On Sunday, November 3, I am proud to be running the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon for Team ALS TDI. The ALS Therapy Development Institute, based in Watertown, Massachusetts, is a drug discovery lab focused entirely on ALS drug development. Please help me by making a donation to ALS TDI, an official charity partner for the marathon. Your donation will fuel continuous efforts to advance promising drugs and help END ALS. Thank you!

My Uncle Ray, aka Warrior Ray, was diagnosed with ALS in 2023. He has lived with symptoms for three years, but he refuses to be a statistic by his own words. He continues to live his life strong, fueled by gratitude and hope. He is a lifelong athlete and a journalist for widely read and respected publications like the Washington Post and New York Times. Today he champions older and extraordinary athletes with his journalistic skill through his online newsletter Geezer Jock. Please support Ray and all the Geezer Jocks out there by visiting the Geezer Jock Newsletter for all the latest and greatest about unstoppable athletes. Read his own words about living with ALS, "One Man's Determination to Believe in the Biology of Hope."
