Running for my mother Peggy O'Sullivan

Story

NYC Half Marathon Fundraiser

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

ALS Therapy Development Institute is a wonderful non-profit biotech organization (based in the Boston area) dedicated to finding a cure and developing therapies for ALS. In addition to their profound work related to researching potential drug therapies, they also connect pALS (people with ALS) to clinical trials, collect data regarding disease progression that's fueling their work, and set a global standard in research.

As you know, my beloved mother, Peggy O'Sullivan, passed in April 2024 after nearly three years of this terrible disease. A lifelong nurse, her dedication to caring for others is the reason I'm running. I would love nothing more than to see a cure in my lifetime so that no other families may suffer.

A few suggested amounts and "prizes".

-$13 - a dollar for every mile

-$68 - dollar for every year of her life

-$130 Sponsor a Mile - I'll take a picture with the mile marker and give you a shout-out on social media and send you the photo too!

-$250  Singing telegram - Anytime in 2025 you can receive a singing telegram for you or a loved one via FaceTime, Zoom, or in person in the Boston area. It's the perfect special and unique gift! An opera singer presenting a personal serenade!

On Sunday, March 16th, I'm proud to be running as part of Team ALS TDI for the upcoming United Airlines NYC Half. I will be running on behalf of The ALS Therapy Development Institute, an Official Charity Partner. Your donations fuel our continuous efforts to advance promising drugs and help END ALS. Please support me by making a donation.

Thank You so much!

Warmly, Hailey
