Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

I am so excited and honored to be running the 2023 NYC marathon as an ALS TDI charity partner. My personal journey with the NYC marathon began 15 years ago when I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. At that time, I decided to make major lifestyle changes and began my running career. This year I ran and completed my first marathon in Tel-Aviv, Israel.

During my marathon training, I received lots of advice and support from my friend Hindy Ginsberg. During this time, I learned more about Hindy’s mother who battled with ALS and her sister who is currently living with ALS. Hindy has been an inspiration to me as a runner, marathoner and recent ultramarathoner but also as a person and athlete dealing with the effects of ALS in her family.

As an ER doctor – I’m used to being the one being asked for help, but now I need to ask you.

Please help me reach my goal and run the NYC marathon for this worthy cause.

Thank you!
