Running in memory of Angela Stanley and Cory Burell. Running for those who no longer can. Running to support ALS-TDI and help END ALS.
Help me support ALS research and find a cure!
On Sunday, November 6, I'm proud to be running as part of Team ALS TDI for the upcoming TCS New York City Marathon. I will be running 26.2 miles on behalf of the The ALS Therapy Development Institute, an Official Charity Partner.
I am taking on this challenge and running this race in memory of my "Queen" - my late wife Angela Stanley who died of ALS in January of 2020 at the age of 49. Angela was an amazing wife for 27 years and filled our home with love, laughter and joy! She was the mother to Jake, Brooke and Jackson who she adored completely. Angela had the kindest heart and was the best friend to so many! Angela was diagnosed with bulbar ALS in 2018. Angela dedicated herself to helping advocate for ALS awareness and fundraising to help patients live with ALS.
I am also running in memory of Cory Burell who died of ALS in March of 2019 at the age of 35. Cory was the husband to Alison and father to Hunter and Garrett. Cory was diagnosed with familial (genetic) limb onset ALS. Cory worked tirelessly until the end to help spread awareness and advocate for a cure.
Your donations fuel our continuous efforts to advance promising drugs and help END ALS. Please consider donating.
I hope you will join me on this journey and follow along as I train for the NYC Marathon and document this experience. A few ways you can get involved in my fundraising in addition to a monetary donation!
SO ARE YOU READY TO DONATE? Donations of every amount are appreciated. However, the following are the special DONATION LEVELS AND INCENTIVES! Please help us reach our goal.
Thank you ALS-TDI for giving me the opportunity to run and THANK YOU to each of you for supporting me on this journey. We will not stop fighting until there is a cure!
