What I miss the most is talking. You see, my career was in broadcast communication. Until the effects of ALS started to impact my work, I was a radio news reporter, director and talk show host.

I was diagnosed with ALS in December 1999 and had to stop working in March 2000 when my speech was affected.

We are optimistic regarding all of the promising developments in ALS research.

Thank you for visiting our site.

Dean Adraktas

Dean fell asleep in Christ August 28, 2014.

In the process, he donated his organs in the hopes that YOU will consider doing the same. He was a great Christian and will be deeply missed.

This forevermissed website has some great photos, music, videos and stories of Dean's life. http://www.forevermissed.com/dean-james-adraktas/#about

Thank you for your generous donations. May his memory be eternal.
