Due to COVID-19, and with the safety and health of our community in mind, we made the difficult decision to cancel the 10th annual Corntoss Challenge in-person event that was scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2020 in Piedmont.
While we cannot gather in person, we hope you will still help us support ALS research at the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI), a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to finding a cure for ALS. COVID-19 is seriously impacting the progress of research at ALS TDI. (Read more on ALS TDI's website here.) ALS TDI’s financial losses at this critical time could exponentially slow down potential treatments for people living with ALS today, and the generations of people with ALS still to come.
If you are able, please donate to the Corntoss Challenge to continue research at ALS TDI. For example, please consider donating any expenses you would have incurred attending/ supporting the Corntoss Challenge in-person event:
- $30 - save on raffle tickets, food, and drinks
- $50 - save on a student team registration
- $100 - save on a team registration
- $250 - save on a court sponsorship
- $450 - save on a court sponsorship and two team registrations
- $1,000 - save on a bronze sponsorship
- Or any custom amount
Also, if you would like to ask your friends and family to support ALS TDI’s research, you can register as a Virtual Player (no cost). An online fundraising page will be created for you automatically after you register, and you can ask people to donate to your page.
