This cause is near and dear to our hearts, so we make sure to celebrate with our biggest event of the year – live music, multiple food trucks, fun for the whole family, and the release of our annual Ales for ALS beer, Bubba’s Brew. We’ll donate $1 from any pint sold at this event to ALS-TDI.

Scott Hanses

Our beloved brother and uncle, Scott, was the inspiration behind the Ales for ALS™ program.  Since 2013, our family brewery, Bale Breaker Brewing Co., has worked alongside brewers throughout the US to raise funds and awareness for Lou Gehrig’s disease. Every dollar donated directly supports research at the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI) to find treatments and cures for everyone with ALS. We lost Scott in March 2020, but we will continue to honor him through Ales for ALS™ until the day comes when there is hope for families receiving this heartbreaking diagnosis.

ALS in not incurable, it is underfunded. With your support, we can create a future without ALS.
