I was humbled by the outpouring of friends, family and neighbors who weathered the storms and came out to support this year. With only about $3,800 to go before we hit $50,000, we are truly grateful. Thank you to all my friends and family from home and Ole Miss who supported me and came out to help run the stand. Together we made a difference yesterday and made some great memories doing it! We have exceeded last year by over $4,000, and this growth gives us hope.
Total once all donations get posted will be $46,195! The total will continue o be updated as donations come in.
Thank you,
Mac Brown

What started out as a way to help raise money to fulfill Mr. Brandt's bucket list, has turned into a passion for me to do my part to find a cure for ALS by raising money for research.
Michael Brandt, a friend's dad on my soccer team while in grade school, and Mike Mitchell, a high school friend of my mom's, both died from ALS. John Pallansch, the brother of my neighbor, also fought a hard battle against ALS and passed away. This year the uncle of a STA grad, who was my fellow teammate, passed away. I was also just made aware of another ALS diagnosis in Mrs. Brandt's immediate family.
This disease has affected me and my family on a very personal level. Help me keep my commitment to Mr. Brandt, as well as helping every family that has to endure the pain of ALS and donate.
I believe every small contribution helps and I appreciate all the help from my family, friends, and neighbors who help me make this stand AWESOME!
