Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

On Sunday, March 16th, I’ll be running the United Airlines NYC Half Marathon as part of Team ALS Therapy Development Institute. This summer, our mom was diagnosed with ALS. As you can imagine, she is our favorite person in the world, and hearing this news turned everything upside down.

Despite the overwhelming challenges, my mom and dad have taken immediate action—researching tirelessly, speaking with doctors, and gathering every bit of information they can. What has been hard for us all to accept is that there is still no cure for ALS. This is why research is so crucial.

My mom has always made sure that Madison, Mitchell, and I are okay, going out of her way to show us love and support in everything we do. Running with Team ALS TDI is one way that I can show her the same love and support she always shows us, while contributing to the efforts to find a cure. ALS TDI is leading the charge in ALS drug research, and every step I take in this race is for my mom and for everyone with ALS.

Thank you so much for supporting my mom, and for helping to make a difference for everyone affected by ALS—both now and in the future.
