Become a FundraiserMission: Kiss My ALS’s purpose is to promote awareness of ALS, stir up community involvement via fundraising challenges and raise money for ALS TDI, while celebrating life!
Origin: KissMyALS.com was created by Anne Marie Schlekeway after discovering that she was living with ALS. Our goal is to eradicate ALS in the world and assist people with ALS in living powerfully.
Intentions:
1. To provide a real time look into what it is to live with ALS/ A day in the life
2. To be a resource for people and their families who are impacted by ALS from recipes to products to inspiration
3. To explore what it is to be an Empowered patient
4. To raise money for research for treatments and to cure ALS
5. To give me a pathway to fully communicate the impact having ALS, from it’s first symptoms to my diagnosis and beyond, in an effort to support others in dealing powerfully with this condition, in short this blog is my voice.
6. To spread awareness and begin a conversation of prevention in the ALS community
