Oyster and Beer Fundraiser for Corey's Crusade

Corey was diagnosed with ALS in July 2007, but he had shown symptoms for several years prior.  After his diagnosis, he returned to Middlebury College and graduated with honors in May of 2008. Since then, he has worked to bring awareness of ALS to others and raise money toward finding a cure. His efforts are inspirational, and encourage others to spread the word and live life to the fullest. 
Corey and his family are committed to ALS TDI.  Corey and his mother (Wendy) toured the ALS TDI labs at the end of 2007 and since then the Reich family and its network have organized several fundraising events providing more than $900,000 for research at ALS TDI.  His father Ted became a board member at ALS TDI in April 2009 and has focused his energies in helping to direct the Institute's partnership with MLB and developing new corporate outreach programs in support of the research center's sole mission - the development of effective treatments to end ALS.

Some of Corey's hobbies include following his favorite sports teams (from the Piedmont High Highlanders to the Middlebury Panthers), playing trivia, drinking and now making beer.  Corey also enjoys to travel to faraway places, mostly also to taste beer.
